The S1E Eco-Screen from Centor Architectural is a revolutionary product providing eco-friendly retractable insect screening and solar control with fingertip operation. This is the world's first product to offer screening solutions for openings up to 7.4 m wide.
It is the evolution of Centor's award-winning S1 Insect Screen and offers architects and homeowners the perfect solution to both indoor and outdoor screening problems.
Frames can be fitted with either a UV or insect protection blind. The UV blind is available in six colours and offers a 95% reduction in UV rays. This allows for cooler rooms in the summer and acts as an insulator in the winter. The UV blind can also double as a projection screen for either indoor or outdoor screenings or presentations. |

The insect blind has a fine mesh that allows for clear uninterrupted views in a bug-free environment. It has been subject to a series of durability tests including impact and wind testing proving it can withstand the rigours of everyday living.
For openings of up to 3.7m wide home-owners or commercial users are able to combine both the insect protection screen and the UV blind creating a two-in-one screening solution.
Frames are available in anodised finishes and custom colours to complement any door type. All mechanisms are concealed within the frame, and used singly or paired together S1E screens retract horizontally and discreetly into the frame when not in use. The frame itself can be housed within the fabric of the building for a completely disguised appearance.

Load Balancing Technology
Load Balancing Technology (LBT) (patent pending) allows for the effortless fingertip control synonymous with Centor products. With no crude spring-loading to fight against, the screen's lead-stile remains firmly in any chosen position until further pressure is applied. Load-balancing also means far greater tension across the screen or blind, eliminating any tendency for sag.
Tight Technology
Tight Technology manufacturing techniques ensure control of the horizontal edges of the screen so they remain straight and tight across the widest spans.
Shock Absorption
In the majority of cases the shock absorption mechanism prevents system damage by redirecting impact away from the screen.
Self-Feeding Mechanism
Should winds blow the screen out of the top or bottom channels the fabric will self-feed back onto the roll.
Specifying S1E
Architects and Designers can feel comfortable simply specifying "Centor S1E" and leaving detailed component selection to the builder, joiner or fabricator.
